Pool Accounts are sub-accounts that can be created under your Main account. Funds created under these Pool accounts can be used by multiple cards and multiple users, making it the ideal way to manage monthly budgets for your departments or projects. Pool Accounts can be a good tool to manage your expenses and control out of budget spending, by creating 1 Pool account for each department, project or location.
Funds allocated to a Pool Account can only be accessed by the cards linked to that pool account, thus preventing funds from being used by other issued cards.
Pool Account cards have the same controls and functionality as Account Cards and card settings can be controlled from the card itself.
Below is a step-by-step guide showing you how to create pool accounts, transfer funds to them, and issue cards under each Pool Account.
Step 1: Navigate to Pool Accounts and select Actions then select Create Pool Account
Step 2: Enter a name for your Pool Account and add some funds directly to it by entering an amount in the Opening Balance Transfer Field, then click on Submit to create your Pool Account.
Step 3: Creating Cards under the Pool Account: Navigate to the Pool Account that has been created, click on it, and then click on "Add Cards", Fill in the required details and click on Create Card.
You can also create Pool Account cards directly from the Create Card function by selecting Pool Account Card as the card type and the selecting the Pool Account that card should be allocated to.

Please note, you can choose how you manage the fund assignment on a card-by-card basis and you can run both card types simultaneously.
