The receipts inbox is a new feature specifically designed for the purpose of tracking and managing receipts.
The receipt inbox houses all receipts uploaded to the Qashio Platform. From here you can filter to find specific receipts, or bulk upload multiple receipts into the platform.
What are mapped/unmapped receipts?
A mapped receipt is a receipt that is attached (or mapped) to a specific transaction. If you make a purchase and upload the receipt to be attached to the transaction, it would be considered a mapped receipt.
In the event a receipt was uploaded via WhatsApp or email but not picked up by optical character recognition (OCR), it will not be mapped to a transaction and would be considered an unmapped receipt.
You can manually map receipts to transactions through the receipt inbox.
Below is a step by step guide on how to map receipts to transactions.
Step 1: Find the unmapped receipt.
Once you're in the receipts module, click on the unmapped button highlighted below.
Step 2: Map receipt.
Once you have identified the receipt you would like to map, click on the "map" button highlighted below to map it to the transaction.
Step 3: Find transaction to map to
You can now search for the transaction with the unmapped receipt.
Search for the transaction amount, vendor name, or cardholder name/email to find the specific transaction you want to attach the receipt to.
Be sure to check the box to show only unmapped transactions to make it easier to find your specific unmapped transaction.
Important note: Only admins can see all company transactions. If you are not an admin user, you can only map the receipt to your own transaction.
Step 3: Map the receipt to transaction transaction
Once you have successfully found the transaction you would like to map to, click the transaction and hit the map receipt button.
Note: Once you have selected the transaction, it will show the transaction ID. This is the unique identifier for the specific transaction. An example reference would look like "CTrf3c4opc7x9ggh"
Once you hit "Map receipt" your receipt will be mapped to the transaction
