Each transaction has certain information associated with it, and the Transaction Type is an important one. There are 7 transaction types that will be explained in this article:
Purchase: This indicates that the card was used to directly purchase a product or a service from a merchant.
Card Loading: This indicates that the card was topped up and the amount indicates an increase in the card balance
Card Unloading: This indicates that the card was depleted and the amount indicates a decrease in the card balance
Deposits: This indicates that the Qashio Pool Account has been topped up and this transaction records a successful top-up with a specific amount
Reversals: This indicates that the merchant might have failed to receive the funds or they were not cleared from the merchant, so the money was reversed back to the card
Refunds: This indicates that the merchant has decided to refund a specific amount to the card due to canceling a service, an item being returned or other reasons
Cash Withdrawals: This indicates that the user has performed cash withdrawals on this card from one of the ATMs, of which the card will record the amount and the ATM used to withdraw the money
