Adding a Beneficiary
A beneficiary is the vendor abroad you're paying. Before sending your first payment to someone, you'll need to add them as a beneficiary.
The fields you'll fill in depend on whether they're an Individual or a Business, and which country you're sending to — some destinations ask for a bit more detail, like an address or phone number. Regardless of destination, every beneficiary needs:
Beneficiary Type (Individual or Business)
First & Last Name (Individuals) or Business Legal Name (Business)
Beneficiary Nickname — your own label for them
Beneficiary Email
Bank Account Country, Account Holder Name, Account Currency, and Account Number (IBAN or local equivalent)
You don't need to wait for a beneficiary to be fully approved before submitting a payment request. You can submit a payment to a beneficiary that's still pending — it will simply hold until both the beneficiary and the invoice have cleared review.
